Maxis sees 20% more subscribers next year

MAXIS Communications Bhd expects growth in its cellular subscriber base to be in the high teens or close to 20% next year. 

For this year, its chief executive officer Datuk Jamaludin Ibrahim expects cellular subscriber growth to be around 20%-25%. The company had 4.05 million cellular subscribers as at end-September, or close to a 40% share of the local cellular market.
