Bank Negara reviews trade data


Bank Negara is reviewing the trade data for the past three months, as they appear not to have fully captured all the relevant export information of exporting companies. 

Governor Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz said the changeover from manual to electronic reporting had given rise to “some exclusions” and that the Statistics Department was reviewing both the data and the data system.
