Globetronics still on expansion trail

Globetronics Technology Bhd, in line with its business strategy to maintain its status as a regional player in the integrated circuit (IC) chip industry, will continue to explore possible sites around the world to establish chip production facilities. 

Executive chairman Michael Ng Kweng Chong told StarBiz that the group, which currently had manufacturing plants in Malaysia, China and the Philippines, was looking for investment opportunities in other Asia-Pacific countries and in Europe.
