Diamond Leaves kicking off 2nd phase of housing project

BY DAVID TAN IN PENANG

DIAMOND Leaves Sdn Bhd is launching today the second phase of its Taman Tun Hussein Onn housing project in Seberang Jaya after already having sold 70% of the units since their soft launch three months ago.

Managing director Soon Seong Moh told StarBiz that the properties – comprising 49 two-and-a-half-storey terraced houses, 18 double-storey semi-detached houses, and three three-storey bungalows – were targeted at the upper-middle income group.

The terraced houses are priced from RM309,888 onwards, and the selling price for the semi-detached and bungalow properties from RM419,888 and RM700,000 onwards, respectively.

“The selling point of the properties is that they are very spacious and have more rooms compared with conventional terraced, semi-detached, and bungalow houses.

“Our terraced and semi-detached houses, with built-up areas of between 2,500 and 2,700 sq ft have five rooms, while the bungalows, with built-up areas of 4,500 sq ft, have seven rooms.

According to Soon, in mid-2004, Diamond Leaves will kick off 148 units of landed and high-rise properties in a gated community project on a four-acre site in Relau, Penang.
