  • (JTI) posted a pre-tax profit of RM38.6mil in the third quarter ended Sept 30, representing a 59% increase over the RM24.3mil achieved in the previous corresponding quarter.  

    The increase in profit was primarily attributed to higher sales and lower marketing expenditure in the current quarter, it said in a statement yesterday.
