TOKYO (AP) - Tokyo's key stock index declined nearly 3 percent Tuesday to a three-month low as investors were discouraged by Wall Street's overnight fall and a stronger Japanese yen.
The Nikkei Stock Average of 225 issues closed down 297.50 points, or 2.83 percent, at 10,207.04 points - its lowest since the Aug. 19 finish of 10,174.10.
