MALAYSIA Airlines (MAS), which was “stricken” by the SARS crisis in its first quarter, has staged a recovery to post a group net profit of RM101.1mil for the second quarter ended Sept 30.
The outbreak of the travel-crippling SARS had coincided with the airline's first quarter ended June 30, causing it to incur a RM164.5mil loss for the period.
