ALTHOUGH the current escalating price of crude palm oil (CPO) augurs well for planters, the plantation sector and the country economically, it has put domestic cooking oil suppliers in a dilemma as they try to meet local needs.
The price of CPO, which was capped at RM1,450 per tonne for years, has breached the RM1,900 per tonne level in the last one month.
