Three get first right of refusal for rail job

THE MMC-Gamuda joint venture, which clinched the RM14.5bil contract for the North-South double-tracking project, will be offering DRB-HICOM, Emrail and DRB-HICOM Hikmat Asia the first right of refusal as sub-contractors, sources familiar with the deal said. 

Under the Letter of Award (LoA), the MMC-Gamuda consortium was required to offer Ircon International and DRB-HICOM/Emrail the first right of refusal as sub-contractor for the implementation of civil works for the northern section of the project.
