FORMAL talks for the merger between two leading local Internet service providers (ISPs) TM Net Sdn Bhd and Jaring are expected to be initiated soon, most probably by the Finance Ministry, said Energy, Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Amar Leo Moggie.
Meanwhile, informal discussions had been going on, said Telekom Malaysia chief executive Datuk Dr Khir Abdul Rahman, who is also TM Net chairman.
