INDIA'S Apollo group of hospitals recently signed a transitional management contract with Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas), which is setting up a 302-bed hospital due to open in mid-2005.
The group said in a statement from its branch here the two-year transitional management contract with Petronas, worth US$160mil, involved reviewing design plans, selecting medical equipment, and recruiting and training staff for all departments and functions.
