HONG LEONG Assurance Bhd (HLA) has appointed Looi Kong Meng as chief operating officer of its general division effective Oct 1.
Looi had more than 22 years' experience in the insurance industry and was well-versed in claims management, training and various operational areas of the general division, a HLA statement said.
