WITH the recovery of the global economy and the expected upswing in the electronics sector, things are looking up for the country's exports.
Standard Chartered Bank's Global Research chief economist (South-East Asia) Steve Brice expects the country's exports to start picking up into year-end and 2004, with overall exports expected to rise 7.8% in 2004.
