Time unit bags RM501mil ICT contract

TIME Engineering Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Time Systems Integrators Sdn Bhd (TSI) has accepted a contract worth RM501.6mil from the Education Ministry for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of equipment for the teaching and learning of Science and Mathematics in English programme. 

In a statement to the KLSE on Tuesday, TIME said the extendable contract was for one year and the delivery of the teaching aids would begin this year for use in 2004. 

TSI was also to provide necessary training to users and a three-year after-sales service that includes among others, a call centre, technical help desk, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance.
