Park May eyes top spot in bus scene

PARK May Bhd, now a debt-ridden firm, is poised to become an undisputed leader in the local transportation bus scene if the plan to inject several profitable bus companies, now controlled by Nadicorp Holdings Bhd, is finalised.

This is not the first time such a deal has been structured, as last year the plan was aborted due to several reasons, including pricing. This time around the approach is a bit different in the sense that Nadicorp has cemented its interest by buying an 18.9% stake in Park May from United Engineers (M) Bhd.
