MALAYSIA has targeted double-digit growth in star fruit exports in 2004 with the introduction of a new cultivation technique which uses a netting structure about four metres high.
The netting ensured good pollination and higher fruit yield, Malaysian Agricultural Research and Development Institute (Mardi) deputy director general Datuk Embi Yusoff told newsmen at the 2003 National Horticulture Conference in Bangi yesterday.
