Business Focus to sell fishing vessels in RM1bil government plan

BUSINESS Focus Sdn Bhd is proposing to sell 1,000 fishing vessels to local fishermen under a special government programme for over RM1bil.  

Its group executive chairman Tan Sri Amin Shah Omar Shah told reporters that the group had submitted a proposal to the government three months ago to sell the fishing vessels equipped with the first Malaysian-made marine diesel engine under a special programme to help local fishermen replace their old vessels.
