CONTRACTS worth RM700mil for the construction of two new sewage treatment plants (STPs) are up for grabs as the government takes steps to expedite the modernisation of the country's ageing sewerage.
Sources said the first STP, which would be the biggest in the country and cost some RM600mil, would be sited in Bukit Raja. The second, expected to cost around RM100mil, would be built in Sepang.
