FOREIGN incorporated companies with Malaysian operations have been given the green light to seek a direct listing on the KLSE by the Securities Commission (SC) in a move to make the local bourse more globally competitive.
In what the SC described yesterday as a major liberalisation, four types of companies previously barred from seeking a quotation on the KLSE would now be allowed to list their shares on the exchange.
