Keppel Land in US$53m China buy

A JOINT venture of Singapore’s Keppel Land Ltd has bought a 42ha piece of land in western China for 441 million yuan (US$53.28mil) as part of the property group’s expansion into the country.  

Keppel Land, the property arm of conglomerate Keppel Corp Ltd, said the site in Chengdu, the capital of China’s Sichuan province, could accommodate some 8,000 residential units.
