KFC Holdings Malaysia Bhd said Datuk George Ting Yew Tong has resigned as executive director of the company and president of its fast food division effective yesterday.
Ting resigned as he had given a written undertaking to KFC that he would do so if he did not sell off his shareholding in Grand Synergy Sdn Bhd and Prominent Eight Sdn Bhd, which controls Shakey’s Pizza, within six months.
