BMW confident of success with Sime Darby partnership

BAYERISCHE Motoren Werke AG (BMW Group) says its decision to work with Sime Darby Bhd to form BMW Malaysia Sdn Bhd is due to the group's long-term relationship with the latter and its confidence that the partnership will grow significantly.

“We have a long and successful relationship with Sime Darby and it is for our own interest that we build the future in the country on that success,” said BMW Group chairman of Board of Management Dr Helmut Panke, who was on a visit to Malaysia and other Asia Pacific countries recently.
