SYDNEY: Australian brewer and wine maker Foster’s Group Ltd is selling its Kent brewery site in central Sydney to developer Australand Holdings Ltd for A$203mil.
The sale is part of an operational review by Carlton and United Breweries (CUB), Foster’s beer and spirits division, which is expected to deliver gross annual efficiency gains of A$60mil to A$85mil within the next five years, according to a company statement.
