TOURISM and travel businesses in the Asean sub-region of Brunei/Indonesia/Malaysia/Philippines-East Asean Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) will get a boost when Sarawak hosts a Tourism Mart in Kuching from Sept 18 to 21.
According to BIMP-EAGA Malaysia Business Council (BEMBC) Sarawak chapter chairman Datuk Abang Karim Tun Openg, between 70 and 80 booths are expected to be set up at the event, to be held at the newly opened Sarawak Tourism Complex.
