SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - South Korea's government Monday asked companies and workers to cooperate in the country's preparations for a five-day workweek.
The National Assembly on Friday passed a controversial bill to cut work hours from 44 to 40 hours a week. Most South Koreans currently work five full days per week, plus a half day on Saturday.
