GERMANY-BASED semiconductor company Infineon Technologies has invested an additional RM300mil to increase production at its plant in Malacca.
Infineon Technologies Malaysia managing director and country manager Datuk Wilhelm Fluit said the investment, made in the financial year ending September 2003, would support the production of 10 billion semiconductor chips a year.
