Rhythm signs MoU to begin EMV card migration

RHYTHM Consolidated Bhd, the sole terminal migration organisation (TMO) for the national EMV (Europay, MasterCard and Visa) migration exercise, took its first step towards getting the programme off the ground yesterday with the signing of memorandum of understandings (MoUs) with various technology partners. 

The signing between Rhythm and its first 16 technology partners created TMO Ecosystem, a consortium of suppliers, terminal operators, solutions providers that will work together to ensure EMV migration will be completed by the December 2005 deadline.
