DECORATIVE ceramics maker APP Industries Bhd made a fairly strong debut on the KLSE second board yesterday, with its shares opening at 82 sen for a 37% premium to their initial public offer (IPO) price of 60 sen. 

The counter went on to hit a high of 95.5 sen before slipping back to close at 86 sen for a gain of 26 sen or 43% over the IPO price on volume of 9.9 million shares amid generally cautious sentiment in the broader market.
