IMPROVEMENTS in the quality of financial reporting and corporate governance practices would instil investor confidence and trust in the capital market, said Securities Commission (SC) chairman Datuk Ali Abdul Kadir.
He said this was evidenced by the willingness of investors to pay a corporate governance premium for securities of a “well governed company.”
