VENTURE capital companies are changing their investment strategies to counter the severe decline in deal flows as most business proposals by local entrepreneurs have been exhausted.
On average, venture capitalists (VCs) previously looked at four to five deals a day. However, VCs are now seeing only 10 proposals in a month, said Malaysia Venture Capital Management Bhd (Mavcap) chief executive officer Azwar Mahmud yesterday.
