SMEs not fully utilising incentives

MANY of the country's small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are still not fully utilising the various incentives and financial assistance packages provided for them by the Government. 

International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Rafidah Aziz said the government had so far managed to provide support to 20% of the country's estimated 50,000 SMEs, while the rest had yet to approach her ministry, Small and Medium Industry Development Corp (Smidec) or any government agency.
