Scomi buying drilling fluids storage firm for RM6.3mil

SCOMI Group Bhd has agreed to acquire Peninsular Malaysia's only drilling fluids and base oil bulking storage company, OBM Terminal Sdn Bhd, for RM6.3mil cash. 

Scomi told the KLSE in a statement yesterday that its unit Kota Minerals & Chemicals Sdn Bhd (KMC) had signed a conditional agreement to purchase OBM's entire 100,000 shares with the vendors, Tengku Shariman Ibrahim, Othman Ibrahim and Zahari Othman.
