Khazanah offers up to 186m covered warrants

KHAZANAH Nasional Bhd announced yesterday an offering of up to 186 million covered warrants (CW) in up to 31 million packages to retail, institutional and selected investors. 

The offer is expected to be made in the middle of the month, according to a statement from Khazanah. . 

Each CW package will comprise six covered warrants exercisable into existing issued and fully paid-up ordinary shares in Malayan Banking Bhd, Malaysia International Shipping Corporation Bhd and Tenaga Nasional Bhd in the ratio of 4:1:1 in that order, the statement said. 

Khazanah signed an underwriting agreement yesterday with RHB Sakura Merchant Bankers Bhd and Commerce International Merchant Bankers Bhd (CIMB) for the retail offering of the CW packages, the statement added. 

RHB Sakura and CIMB are joint advisers, joint lead managers and joint bookrunners for the offering as well as joint underwriters for the retail offering. – Bernama
