CEO: Coastal geared for the BIMP EAGA market

Coastal Contracts Bhd (Coastal), which is expected to be listed on the KLSE main board in August, is set to become a one-stop shipping service provider for the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East Asean Growth Area (BIMP EAGA). 

The company, which diversified into vessels manufacturing and marine engineering in the early 1990s from its vessel chartering business, had developed by leaps and bounds, and had begun to attract overseas customers especially from Indonesia, its chief executive officer Ng Chin Heng said.
