NORWEGIAN company Gear Bulk AG has cited Malaysia's vast economic potential and commitment from local port authorities as the main reasons for its decision to shift from Singapore to Pasir Gudang in Johor.
Its general manager Berndt R. Olesen said the Johor port represented the future for the company in terms of expansion despite Gear Bulk's long presence in the island republic.
