Benchmark for project management

The Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB) is proposing to the Works Ministry to have a national competency standard as a benchmark for undertaking government projects involving project management consultants. 

Works Ministry Parliamentary Secretary Datuk Yong Khoon Seng said that CIDB was awaiting approval from the ministry on the document, which was prepared with the co-operation of various parties in the construction industry.
