Sapura Motor to tie up with German firm

SAPURA Motors Bnd and WILH Schulz GmbH have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish a joint venture.  

Sapura Motors did not elaborate on the nature of the joint venture but said it expected the venture to contribute positively to its export initiatives. Sapura Motors is involved in the manufacture of automotive components such as coil springs, stabiliser bars and strut assembly while WILH makes pipes and fittings using hydroforming technology mainly for the oil and gas industry.
