Asmat appointed new chairman of Perodua

PERUSAHAAN Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) has yesterday announced the appointment of Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin as its new chairman, replacing the late Raja Tun Mohar Raja Badiozaman. 

Asmat, 59, who holds an honours degree in economics from Universiti Malaya, had previously served in the International Trade and Industry Ministry for 34 years until his retirement as its secretary-general in January 2001.
