MALAYSIA can achieve a turnaround in its mineral industry in 5 years through strategic changes, Malaysian Chamber of Mines president Datuk Mohd Ajib Anuar said yesterday. 

Proposing the Strategy, Structure and Support (3S) formula as part of this effort, he said there was an urgent need to rejuvenate the mineral industry that had contributed RM1.734bil to the country’s economy last year.
