THE flow of foreign direct investments (FDI) from the United States into Malaysia has slowed but American businessmen still view Malaysia with confidence judging from investment figures in the first three months of this year, compared with the same period last year.
Malaysia received 12 applications from US companies for investments totalling RM281mil in the first quarter of this year compared with nine applications worth RM185mil in the corresponding period last year, an increase by 41%.
