Malaysia has recorded a trade surplus of RM6.34bil in May 2003, its 67th consecutive month of trade surplus since November 1997, the International Trade and Industry Ministry (MITI) said.
Releasing the Malaysia External Trade Statistics yesterday, MITI said the figure was higher than the surplus of RM5.77bil in the preceding month.
