RAMATEX Bhd will allocate US$10mil to acquire a few medium-sized garment manufacturers in Cambodia, Indonesia and an African country, which it hopes to absorb into the group by the end of the year, according to executive director Albert Lim Poh Boon.
He said the acquisition would create synergy and complement the company's existing business activities, which would help to further strengthen its position in the international textile fraternity.
