KFC Holdings Bhd expects its performance this year to be better despite slower sales at its fast-food restaurants in March and April due to the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome outbreak.
Sales at the group's KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants in Singapore dropped by more than 15% in the past months while in Malaysia, sales at KFC, Pizza Hut and Ayamas outlets were down by about 5%,'' its managing director Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani said after KFC's AGM in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
