  • PETLIN (M) Sdn Bhd, a low density polyethylene manufacturer, has appointed Michael Andrew Kerr-Peterson as chief executive officer with effect from June 20. 

    Malaysian-born Kerr-Peterson's career has spanned across various petrochemical and plastic industries in Britain, Zambia and South Africa. 

    He brought into the company 15 years of expertise as managing director of South Africa's DPI Plastics (Pty) Ltd and Vynide (Pty) Ltd, said Petlin in a statement. 

    The Petlin plant is located at the Petronas petroleum industry complex in Kertih, Terengganu. 

    Puteri Badrinise Zakuan

    Petlin is a joint venture between three companies - Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas), which has a 40% stake; Sasol Polymers of South Africa (40%) and Sabic Polyethylenes B.V. (20%). – Bernama  

  • PESAKA Grey Sdn Bhd, the bumiputra advertising division of Grey Global Group Malaysia, has appointed Puteri Badrinise Zakuan as its general manager, reporting to Chris Leong, president of the Grey Global Group South-East Asia. 

    It said in a statement that Puteri Badrinise, with a career spanning 12 years, brought with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in planning as well as executing communications campaigns for some of the world’s most well-known names.
