US$50mil funding for AtlasONE project


DUBAI: AtlasONE Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a broadband service provider, and Kuwait-based International Leasing and Investment Company (ILIC), have signed an agreement to arrange funding to the tune of US$50mil (RM190mil) for the first phase of AtlasONE’s broadband communication services in Malaysia. 

Senior officials of the two companies met in Dubai last week to discuss the funding aspects of the project, which is expected to cost US$225mil (RM855mil), according to a report in the Khaleej Times newspaper.
