SEOUL, South Korea (AP) - Subway workers demanding bigger wages went on strike in three key provincial cities Tuesday amid a stern warning from President Roh Moo-hyun against strikers who would break the law.
There were no immediate reports of transport disruptions in Busan, Daegu and Incheon cities, three of the nation's biggest provincial hubs, where unionized subway workers walked out demanding bigger wages and better working conditions, officials said.
