More affordable units from Bandar Tasik Semenyih

BANDAR Tasik Semenyih Sdn Bhd, the developer of Taman Tasik Semenyih, near Kajang in Selangor, will be launching more affordable houses in its 180-acre township in the next five years. 

Since its launch in 1996, 459 units of bungalow priced at around RM200,000 have been completed and handed to buyers. The completed precinct also includes 58 shops, low-medium cost terraced houses and low-cost units.

Its managing director Lim Yan Pok said the development was aimed at providing quality homes in a resort-like garden environment to discerning buyers who opted for the green environment of the township. 

A family recreational club, the RM3mil Semenyih Lake Country Club, will be ready by September to provide various facilities including a swimming pool, tennis and badminton courts, a gymnasium and playground. 

“The focus of the project is an exclusively designed lake garden, spanning some 20 acres, which forms part of the development. The extensively landscaped lake has a maze garden, jogging path, exercise stations and gazebos,” Lim told StarBiz.  

Most of the units in the remaining 30 acres will comprise affordably priced terraced, semi-detached and bungalow units.  

Lim said the company was bullish of the southern growth corridor with its rapid development and its future projects would mainly be focused there.  

In the pipeline is phase two of the Sri Damai Kajang project featuring 77 units of bungalows and semi-detached houses to be priced from RM478,888 and RM348,888 respectively.  

“Located next to Kajang town, the spaciously built homes with about 3,300-sq ft build-up for the bungalows and 2,500 sq ft for the semi-detached units are also affordably priced. The freehold exclusive development will also have perimeter fencing with security services,” Lim said.  

He said the project's accessibility had been improved with better roads via the Kajang bypass and ring road.  

Under phase one, 20 semi-detached units of 2,882 sq ft in build-up are priced from RM398,888, while the 2,100-sq ft super link houses were sold for between RM238,888 and RM381,888. 

Lim said buyers of the Sri Damai homes would be eligible to become members of the nearby Semenyih Lake Country Club at preferential joining fee of around RM1,000 a membership.

A subsidiary of Bandar Tasik Semenyih, Seri Titiwangsa Sdn Bhd, will be launching its exclusive semi-detached precinct in Taman Tasik Titiwangsa next week for completion by end of 2004. 

The project will feature only eight units of exclusive semi-detached units with build-up of between 3,200 sq ft and 3,400 sq ft, priced from RM1.3mil to RM1.5mil. 

Equipped with high-end finishing materials, including the Shingles home system with water proofing and heat insulation, the units will be built column free to optimise the use of space. The Zen inspired development will have contemporary designs and layouts with internal spaces opening to a private garden.  

“This is a signature development for us to design an exclusive enclave for those who look towards going back to a tranquil home within minutes of the Kuala Lumpur city centre,” he said.
