SARAWAK, which chalked up a favourable trade balance of RM5.946bil in the first four months of this year, has registered significant increases in the exports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and crude petroleum due to improving global crude oil prices.
According to preliminary figures from the Sarawak Statistics Department in Kuching, the two exports together accounted for a combined increase of RM2.538bil.
