SINCE the government announced its economic package recently, I've been doing my own random survey of how much people know about the latest incentives that can help them buy their dream homes at a lower entry level.
Do they know for example that there is a stamp duty waiver for new houses costing not more than RM180,000 or that there is an income tax relief on loan interests to be given for a limited period to first-time buyers of completed houses priced between RM100,000 and RM180,000.
