MALAYSIA'S hope of a resilient economy this year rests on stronger growth in commodity-related exports boosting the performance of the manufacturing sector, economists said.
Going forward, they added, resource-based industries, particularly those involved in downstream processing of major commodities such as crude palm oil (CPO), petroleum and liquefied natural gas, had to remain active in their export quest.
